Tranny noise?

I know a lot of members have swapped to both a greater amount of fluid as well as better fluids, Amy chance you’ve tried that route?

Yep! Replaced with 2L Motul DCTF hoping it'd make a difference. It's either slave cylinder or input shaft bearing I think.

I'm at 166xxxkm, or 103xxx miles. I've had no issues besides replacing battery, had to replace worn front and rear brakes, and front engine mount. I had a knocking sound coming from the passenger side and I thought it was axle related; I did the powerflex engine mount insert and the knocking sound was eliminated. I have a mountune rmm and I think it reroutes the stress to the other mounts, so upgrading the transmission mount is on the agenda. I have no oil leaks or oil consumption,no coolant loss and no over heating issues. I've been tuned since 107xxx km or 66xxx miles and i have an upgraded intercooler and depo downpipe. I do maintain my car very well with probably excessive oil changes and already replaced plugs 3 times, not that I was having ignition issues, but just for peace of mind. Oil always changed with synthetic and transmission fluid changed 2 times. The 1st time with motul gear 300 and now I am running redline mtlv. The coolant flushed and refilled with motorcraft coolant. I also want to give credit to Randy Robles for his tunes on my car; personally he is the only tuner I trust. Bodywise, I have rust bubbling on the door seams.

Look at this guy and only one set of brakes. Reminds me I should do trans and coolant soon, been almost 7 years afaik.

My driving style is conservative on the brakes lol. I like to engine brake and I don't accelerate when I see a red light ahead. I don't tailgate. I keep a relatively long distance between me and the driver ahead. Ppl always rip by me going wtf and then they slam on the brakes after turning into my lane, realizing I was actually maintaining same speed as the driver ahead, not going slow. . I do however, do some left foot braking when doing some spirited driving on mountain twisties or when I feel like going really fast on a turn.

Bought my 2019 Fist in California with 101k. Everything has felt solid and the car was maintained clean. I'm doing an oil change soon, are you guys still running stock weight oil or should I do something a bit different at 104k now?? Thanks!

bought my fiesta in oct 2023 with 139k. it's now at 160k and running strong. im on dizzy stage 2 e30 tune right now & it pulls real hard. enough power to have fun, but not get me in trouble.
throwing fresher stock suspension in on saturday (30k miles on front & rear struts & springs, i don't have bilstein & lowering spring money). had to replace a bent wheel last week. i don't seem to have any major issues beyond trans whine and clutch chatter (which the clutch needs to be replaced soon).
i did have the o2s replaced due to a random code that would keep popping up & had to replace rad fan assembly due to the module failing a few months prior.

Just turned 109K miles. No major issues beside radiator fan plug melting and the fan stopped working on the hottest day of the summer. Replaced the fan and then had to replace the battery because that was the real issue. Low voltage. It was stage 2 E30 dizzy tuned from 60K till about 100K. Now S280 tuned on fuel and E50. Been running the S280 and E30 for about 7k miles and 2k miles E50. No hiccups as of yet. The stock clutch is due for replacement and would slip on occasion with a NLTS 3-4. I have a Whoosh stage 3 ready to go in though the stocker is holding for now with colder temps, more power and less traction. Blend door actuator once a year it seems. She's been great (Knock on wood).

I'm by no means any type of expert, but based on research I did when I bought my Fiesta ST earlier this year, I started using Pennzoil Ultra Platinum full synthetic 5W-30. I've gone through a couple oil changes with it, and everything seems to be running great. I plan to do a Blackstone Labs oil analysis next oil change.
