Exhaust Airflow

Hey all,
So I have a turbo back straight pipe... Depo Racing Catless downpipe and a fabricated cat back. I've noticed that after about an inch from the exhaust tips that there is no airflow. Before I changed the exhaust I never really thought about the air flow from the exhaust. Anyone know what it can be? It doesn't sound like there's an exhaust leak and obviously there's no catalytic converters so they're not clogged. Is this normal?

Okay, ill have to look into that. Maybe to simplify what I'm saying is that there is little to no air flowing out of the exhaust tips

How wide is the piping? Are you checking while the car is idling? If you have 3" piping all the way through, this will slow the speed of the air exiting the exhaust, making it seem as though there is no air exiting. Have someone rev the engine while you check the exhaust flow. Pretty sure you will feel he air exiting the muffler tips. If there was no air flow, your car wouldn't run. It would choke up and shut off. The thinner diameter piping he harder the air will feel exiting the muffler tips. As an example: take two straws. One thickin diameter and one thinner. blow through them you will feel the air exiting the thinner straw come out with more force as opposed to the one that's thicker. It's the same principle with exhaust diameter. Hope this makes sense.

You're imagining and trying to solve a problem that doesn't exist; if the car is running then there's enough airflow.
