^^^Exactly why I am so indecisive on which aftermarket suspension to put under this car, as YES, that is something I want to do ONLY ONCE! [wink] [thumb]

I have been hanging around these forums for 5 years now and I have read this exact thread a dozen times. Don't people research before buying stuff? Sorry to be an asshole.

Sell it, and spend some money and get the one you really want. Regret is a hard thing to live with when modding a car. Better do it right the first time even if it costs more money. If it's too expensive, stop modding your car and rethink your life.
Lol not an asshole, definitely been kicking myself for just running with it.. I had read 100+ times that the thermal is the one to get and I still just went with the MBRP cause it was cheaper.

I eventually will buy the thermal, have too much other crap going on now to drop that much. But I did come up with the idea of having an exhaust shop just weld the old aftermarket muffler onto it for now so I don’t kill my 5y/o daughters ears

I'm sure that will definitely help. I sold my stock exhaust system to somebody running the exhaust system you have on your car.

One of the reasons why I push the fswerks exhaust so much it's quality, and it's definitely not the most expensive not the cheapest either. I have seen them do a sale or two.

No Jeff...They do not! They also don't utilize the search button either before posting. No matter how many times some of us say/ plead don't do it....They just go ahead and buy it.Then the regret starts after a week of driving it. Then the thread pops up!We just need to start watering all of our crops with Brawndo!

That settles it, I'm going to Carl's Jr. to get some lunch.

Alright well based on this thread I'm going to run my 3" catted downpipe and mbrp exhaust and not complain here when it's loud. I said I wanted loud so I'll live with it. Maybe I'll add insulation back inside the car.

Loud is great...then you turn 30 and have to sit in the car line at school to pick up your kid...none of the superstars on Fast & Furious seemed to have kids...

But seriously buy once and buy right, to anyone reading. Another great throaty but not boomy exhaust option is the Mountune.

I'm nearly 40, kids get picked up in the minivan. Fast & Furious car is so I can feel like a teenager again.

Brought my old aftermarket muffler to a shop and got it welded on the end of the MBRP and the obnoxious sound and drone are gone while maintaining the angry sounds when you get on it. Only downside is it’s not 3” all the way through anymore, but I’d prefer to keep what hearing I have left and keep my wife and daughter happy.
