A little embarrassed I never actually checked in when I bought my ST. I had been haunting the forum occasionally trying to scrounge parts to add to my 2015 1.0 SFE that I bought new and finally parted with last year to move to a box stock low mile 2106 FiST. Since then, I have been piling miles on it and occasionally throwing new toys on it. So far, it has a center res delete and 18" cherry bomb for exhaust (sounds astonishingly good, amazing what $150 can accomplish when no amount of dollars will net any real power), 14/15 Evap with Whoosh induction hose and ITG Maxogen intake, CF Ford shift knob with Raceng lockout and a set of ancient OZ Superleggeras (not the new ultras) with Gmax AS-07s, with a whoosh symposer delete on it's way.

Next up are Accessport, rear mount and intercooler. Included is a gratuitous pic of the crumby British thing/Fiesta combo that explains why I can't have nice things. ;)

WELCOME and belated CONGRATS!

The Spitfire is still kind of cool, money pit or not, but would be cooler yet with a set of Minilites, or Minilite copies/replicas on it. [wink]

How do you like the AS-07s so far??
(That was my other choice, besides the DWS-06es, for a 205/50-16 to go on my 2.5 season use Dekagrams.)

In general I really like them. I am regretting not keeping my factory rims and putting the AS-07s on them, and putting the Indys on the OZs. I ran through two sets of the AS-05s on my old 1.0 SFE car, and was very pleased with them. When it came time to put PNW tires on the ST the 07s were an easy sell. They're pretty equal to the 05s in dry and wet, but are a significant upgrade in the snow. The Spit is obviously a terrible sunshine only car, so the Fiesta is on the road about 350 days a year. When one of the Superleggeras suffers some sort of fatal damage beyond the two little Portland pothole dings they've already suffered I'll probably get some Dekas and a set of factory rims as the 4x108 OZ are essentially irreplaceable at this point.

As for the Spit, it will probably either end up with these mini lite knockoffs that should more or less match the paint, or I'll just put some 155/80r13 whitewalls on the factory rims with caps and call it a day. I remain torn... Image.jpg
