I wasn't sure where to post this... but has anyone purchased an eBay replacement key fob? They are extremely expensive at the dealership (about $200)... so I'm thinking of purchasing something like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-FORD-C-...ash=item464cb64d87:g:gH0AAOSwd3dXFrFf&vxp=mtr and asking my dealership to cut and program.
Apparently, you can't program yourself unless you already have 2 keys. They told me it's quite an extensive process to reprogram your fobs, including the new one, at the dealership (hence you have to get it done there, and they charge a lot... $130).
Any positive/negative experiences?
