Yes. A deft foot on the throttle can control a lot of the wheel spin issues. On decent pavement I can actually feather the throttle and clutch in a certain way to keep wheel spin to a minimum. You don't need to rev the engine much to achieve this (to get a decent launch). The problem is, where I live the streets are below average condition and they are slick. On good pavement this car just plain hauls @ss.

Yeah it's fun stuff. That's what happens when the turbo comes on full boil @ around 2400-2500 rpm and all 228-247 pft of torque hit the pavement in a 2650 pound car!

Go find a stock Fiesta ST at a dealer and go test drive it. You think you are going crazy now, you will really go bizerk after driving the car. I purposely waited until November to test drive one myself. I was hot and heavy on the FiST since August of last year.

But while i was waiting for my order to be built i Test drove one and Knew i may the right choice... IT's that good really ..
