I installed my new DiodeDynamics LED projector Fog Lights today.
These units are very high quality and ModBargains have them for $155 with free shipping!

Although ModBargains can also install thsee for you some people may not be close enough or may also not have an installer available.
Here is as step-by-step so that you can do it yourself.

I choose to install Lamin-X lens protection in yellow.
This should be installed before you install the lights.

Next you should install the supplied connector shell.
It is easer to install this before you install the light however it can be done after.

To make sure the connector shell is installed correctley you should remove the current light assembly.
It is easier if you lift the car then remove the lower screw and scrivit from the inner fender.

Next move the inner fender to gain access to the fog light.
There are two screws, one at top on one, side and one at bottom on the other.

To make sure you get the wiring correct, insert the connector shell into the exisiting harness connector.
Next orentate the BLACK wire of the new light to plug into the connector shell and align with the BLACK wire of harness connector.
Insert the RED wire into the connector shell in the other hole and then install the new fog light.
Replace the hardwere in the inner fender then do the other side the same way.

This was very easy and only took about 30 minuites.

I couldn't get any night shots.
So early morning shots will have to do.

I am not a camera person and it was difficult to get the darn thing to see what I was seeing.
This is the best I could do.

This is with yellow Lamin-X on the Fogs.

Here you can see the color differences.
The Headlights are 6000k.

You're a pretty good camera person. The yellow really is vibrant

If it's not too difficult, could you do a 30' night shot to a wall? I'm having a hard time believing that the HIDs really cut off pretty well.

I agree with you and admit that they don't.
I have them adjusted lower so as not to offend anyone.
They have been tested and do fall within the legal lines.

I originally installed them because I wanted the color and I like the way they are.
I live just down the street from the street racer's hang out and have been stopped by the Cops on a number of occasions because of the look of my car in that area.
However never sited, so the lights will stay.

My hope is that the '16 Fiesta will have Projection Headlamps that will fit the '14, that then will be another MOD.

The yellow Lamin-X burned on my original fog lights...
I too had the same problem with the OE fog lights and Lamin-X.
This is why I originally changed to 2500k yellow bulbs (new & used set for sale BTW).

LED lights can get hot electrically but not usually because of the light.
This set is cold to the touch when on, so I am sure they will be OK.

So one of the glass lenses on my driving lights is broken. I'm guessing it was a rock from another vehicle but anyway if I buy these fog lights will they replace the glass or will I need to buy the glass also? Thanks

It looks like I will need to reuse the connector from the OEM fog lights. Does anyone know if the connectors be purchased individually from a Ford dealership or anywhere else?
