GREAT 'daily beater'!! [twothumb][raceflag]

But, you might regret buying something soooo easy to mod, and responsive to mods, as the bug might bite you just as hard as the FiST one has.

Temptation is downright EVIL. [wink]
You are absolutely not wrong. Just looking at the engine bay is tempting with how much room to work there is in there. Everything is so accessible. But no, not for a while. It’s under warranty for the next 5 years, then maybe! For now it’ll be just some window tint and a sub because the factory stereo is crap.

So great to follow this now. Quickly got up to date with everything that you have added, looking forward to the results. I am also in the process of perhaps getting a G25 550 IWG setup with 0.49 AR turbine, have not seen anyone do it yet and also hoping to gain some spooltime. My current setup is a Custom GTX 2563R which is super laggy and has not impressed me as much as I hoped, also running custom made exhaust manifold which I think is the culprit - wanted to upgrade to a GTX2860R and back to ported stock manifold, but the things i have heard over the G25 is all good so far so leaning more towards that. Please keep us updated on the install and post some pics/results if you can.

Yes sir, all on the car still and will definitely be selling everything that doesn’t stay on it. I’m hopeful the mountune hot side pipe will fit but it’s unlikely.

Life is funny. Bought the Mustang to be a new daily in September and literally two weeks later found out we have a baby on the way. Mustang is now for sale as I’ve purchased the dad-mobile that can safely carry dogs and kiddo. Taking delivery later in the week.

Been a while since I’ve done anything with the fiesta after my daughter was born. Finally got a few minutes to get a couple of things done.

Removed the OEM trans mount with powerflex race insert in favor of vibra-technics fast road. The race inserts feel great, but the amount of NVH is too much for me. The passenger side still has OEM mount + upgraded bolt + race insert, but will swap that for vibra whenever I have a few more minutes to wrench on it. I didn’t find the passenger side mount to add anywhere near as much NVH as the trans mount.

Also installed coolerworx shifter despite much apprehension after reading of multiple install horror stories and failures. I have nothing negative to say about the install or operation of it given I’ve only put 80 miles on it. Install was very easy and required no modification of anything. Hardest part was pushing hard enough to get it lined up. Definitely can’t do it yourself. Linkages all snapped right in, nice and snug. The throw and height are great.

Eventually the G25 sitting in the garage will drive me crazy enough to tackle that install.

Does the coolerworx shifter have a boot?

Redline makes a boot that’ll fit, but I’m leaving it exposed until I decide I trust it. I can look down and verify that everything is attached and reach a finger or two in to make sure the adjustment knobs are still tight. I also dropped one of the tiny locking washers into the abyss behind the A/C controls so I’ll have to grab one at Home Depot and take the console back off to put it on.

Little more progress. XDI hpfp is in. It’s massive compared to the stock pump. Fuel hose and adapter due today from Radium to plumb the ethanol content sensor properly.

Some manifold porn. Had to pull the HPFP to get it in which was annoying, but oh well. Hanging the turbo tomorrow then on to injectors and plumbing the charge pipes and fuel line.

That is definitely nice looking. What performance advantages does it bring?
