Should be a simple matter of attaching the splitter with althread that is about 3" longer to the crash bar. I told the repair shop to leave out the center splitter connection and that I will install that. They're going to grind open my new grille for me, and get the front bumper clear bra put on. I just wish my front windshield had gotten busted. I'm also getting my old grille back so i can make a stainless steel frame with a wire grille.

Hey Russ, it turns out that my crash bar was fine after my run in with a large piece of semi tire tread. I ended up getting the Mountune splitter, but it has an althread that mounts to the OEM crash bar. I'll need to mod the center mount to fit the FMH crashbar. Has anyone fitted a Mountune splitter with a DHM crash bar?
No not that we know of

Russ

Ok... I just ordered/paid for mine... first mod ordered and the car won't even be here till next week at the earliest. Wonder when I will get notice to the extra shipping price, etc for the parts.

For the few of you that have this and have installed on your own, would you guys be willing to put up a build thread? I've viewed a couple videos on taking off the bumper, but that's the scariest part for me. There's so many bolts and clips you can break during the process. Is the bumper removal something that can be done with one person?

The crash bar looks really easy to remove. That part seems about the easiest. I would just like know which parts are not reinstalled.

Check out my build thread. I go into installation detail on my first levels intercooler. The crash bar is easy to install. You can pull the bumper by your self. Just have a blanket to lay the bumper on.

I ordered on 9/22 and received the shipping invoice on 9/29. Still waiting on the intercooler to be shipped though...

They take awhile.. Go read the 80+ pages of DHM factory fitment intercooler group buy. Paid First week of July finally got the intercooler end of August or early September. Also paid for the special DHM charge pipe which was never even attempted to be made and instead was offered a MBRP charge pipe. Good results from DHM, everything else... Ehh

I can understand the growing pains completely. Two weeks to wait for the intercooler isn't too bad. A month would be disheartening only because I can't install the down pipe, intake or really much of anything else I want to install because pretty much any performance mod in this car requires a better intercooler and this is the biggest!

I didn't realize SEMA starts tomorrow.
