As odd as it sounds, this was the most blaring, obvious short coming I saw in the car when I bought it. I couldn't believe they over looked something so obvious. But at least its now going to be a simple affordable fix :)

Boom! I think this looks way better. I'm really happy with the v2! I'll get some install pictures on lunch but I'm going to get these in production!

I did the short shifter adapter and bushings which might be the best mod I've done. I think if I were to mod the shifter itself it would be shorter not longer. This mod seems to be counter intuitive to the short shifter mod? Someone enlighten me?

The bent shifter moves the shift knob up and back to allow the shifter to reach the hand, when the seat is adjusted so that the left leg is fully extended when the clutch pedal is fully depressed. For some of us this backward movement of the shift ball location makes a big difference in shifting effort and engagement. Using short shift devices on the trans and shifter Also helps for the longer shift setups.

When I'm seated in my Recaro seats and go to reach for the gearshift in neutral with my eyes closed to get the most natural position, when I look down it seems the knob is around 2" lower than my hand and about 1" forward.
So for me the perfect shifter position would be 2" higher with a 1" bend toward the driver.
