Cruise Control and clutch

Curious if the cruise control cuts the gas when push in the clutch and want to downshift. I had an F-150 and you had to remember to delete the cruise [hit brake] before pushing in the clutch if you had the cruise on or your engine was in for a big surprise.

Yes, if you shift it will deactivate.

The instant the clutch is depressed, the cruise disengages. You may see a little increase in RPM if you’re traveling uphill.
