Putting a new timing belt on 2016 ford fiesta st. 1.6 All the information I can find the crankshaft sensor shows it by the crankshaft pulley, but mine is next to the flywheel, is anybody have this problem?
It should not be by the flywheel.... It should be by the serpentine belt and secures into the block with 1 screw and the sensor itself sits behind the crank pulley. I have a feeling your either looking at the wrong sensor or your car is weird.

I do find that difficult to believe as the picture I posted is from the FORD Service Manual for the 2016, 1.6L Turbo Fiesta ST.
If it were in a different location, don't you think Ford would show you.

Is that engine out of the car?
Is it possible to get a photo from further away to get a better perspective?
Your photo shows that you have the lower pully/balancer off.
Can you provide a photo of the back side of it as well?

Did you buy this as a Used car?
Your first says Fiesta ST.
Are you sure it not an SE?
Do you have a manual or automatic trans; if manual, is 5 or 6 speed?
Well, as an SE that makes more sense.
Make sure you buy parts for the SE and NOT an ST as the parts are different.
You should replace the water pump at the same time.
Other than parts the procedure is about the same.
Good Luck.
