Be sure to follow the link in DialCaliper’s response (a mechanical engineer with a deep interest in optimizing suspensions) in that thread to the custom “rally” style springs he built. It has a complete parts list with direct links to vendors and a complete set of instructions and tips for assembling them. (Meant to be clear for anyone to follow and easily assemble). You can use them with your stock struts and shocks or upgrade to B6 Bilsteins. He was very satisfied with the results he got with relatively inexpensive parts (about $350 to build the springs plus the cost of the struts and shocks if you decide to upgrade). A few members have started to do just that, including me; hope to have the last of my parts next week and start the project.
