Has anyone else had a problem with the lid warping? I noticed it maybe a month or so ago, i just kept forgetting to bring it up. The car seems to be running fine other than im sure a little bit of hot air is getting in. Gonna email Cobb hopefully they'll send me another lid and it will only be a few bucks.

Yep, it's easy to overtighten. If you contact Cobb support they will probably send you a replacement lid at no charge. (They sent me a replacement)

Mine never fit perfectly from the beginning do I didn't tighten it extra tight. I wonder if some of the warping has to do with the engine shifting backwards under load and pulling on the plate/tubing.

Looks like between heat and engine movement created the issue.

I dont think it because I over tightened it, im leaning more towards heat. Ive done a couple of hard track days on Hockenhiem and The Ring.

If you over tighten you would start to get stress cracks. So based on the pics provided it looks like heat an engine tqing caused it.

What's that thing coming out the side in the 1st pic? Kinda' looks like a tube or something. Also, are you running a DP? If so, and not wrapped it may be increasing your engine temps especially when on track.

Mine had a pretty significant bow from day 1 as well. COBB sent me a replacement for no charge. The new lid has been holding up great.

The defective lid:

dam thats crazy after just 1 day. Hopefully it was just a minor defect to just a few of them, got another track day at Hockemheim coming up in August so hopefully it will hold up. If not ill have to fab something up.
