Cobb exhaust broke between hanger and muffler

Recently, I noticed rattling noise coming from my car. Looks outside and noticed the my Cobb exhaust is hanging lower than usual. Did more investigation and found out that the hanger broke from the muffler.

Question for all of you, is it possible to weld this back without having to replace the muffler?

Of course you can weld the bracket back on.

You can weld the bracket back on, but for that expensive of an exhaust, I'd want to know why it broke in the first place.

Mine did the same thing.

I emailed Cobb, they sent me a brand new exhaust overnight. just get ahold of them and they will make it right for you.

Looks like it should be a double connection point on the muffler, like a Y. Hope they make it right.

Warranty for one year only, so out of luck for me. Instead did this. Added an extra support to prevent future problem.
