It will be louder, but how much louder depends on the rest of the car mostly. If the rest of your exhaust is stock it probably won't be a big change in volume. It does still have a cat, so it won't be anywhere near as loud as catless.

As far as a CEL - if it was catless i'd say for sure it would throw a CEL. Since it does still have a cat, it may not throw one, but I'm honestly not sure. I think usually people use these with a tune which may disable any related CEL's.
