So how do I get this personalized tune? Do I send him my AP and he puts it on their and I would have had to buy the AP and get the tune at the same time?

And what is the tune based on? My personal mods?

Anyone know anything about the tune Randy and FSwerks promised those who purchase an AP from FSwerks about 6months ago?

You have to realize that the Cobb tunes are OTS tunes and designed to be able to work for everyone, everywhere. There has to be additional safety built into it so that the guy who uses it in Denver won't blow his engine, even if that sacrifice is made to the guy that lives in Tampa. Mountune, FreekTune, Unleashed, etc., will have their own base tune based on their testing that should be a bit better than the OTS tunes and then they'll have you do a few datalog runs to verify and tweak it a little more.

In terms of gains-
Stock < OTS tunes < Pro Tuners base maps < Pro Tuners custom maps

Cobb AP with Mountune's map.

Did you order your tune on their site or call Randy directly? On the mountune site, the tune that costs $150 says that it is only for customers who purchased the AP from mountune. I'm just wondering if you can get this tune if you bought the AP from Cobb.

They had a sale sometime in May, which included a free map with the purchase of the AP, that's the $150 free map they talked about. I ordered it online. When I received my AP it had the custom map installed, when you look at your available maps on the AP it'll list the Security Tune, Economy Tune, Anti-theft Tune, a 91 Ocnade Tune and the free custom tune, I can't remember the name of it. Hope this helps..........

That dyno shows 17whp and 65wtq gain. That's not even close to 40whp

Sorry about the CAPS and the delay in my reply it is crazy busy here, the CAPS are how we type internally my bad.... As for the power gains if you read the dyno sheet from 2500 RPM to around 3700 RPM you will see around 84 wtq and 40 whp peak gains. Which is a direct reflection of our claims.



The time slips reflect the power gains that are made as well, in the interest of absolute transparency.

The traps for both 1/8th and 1/4 show good gains. Basically 4mph gain in the 1/8th and 4mph in the 1/4.

That is basically a 25-30whp increase if weight stayed the same between runs.
