CLOSED: What tune is everyone using on the Fiesta ST?

I know Livernois has been tuning Ecoboost's for six years...and their stuff seems solid from what I've read...so what does that say about Mountune and what they have done since 1980. I know Randy came over to Mountune after his 17 years at FSwerks...boat load of experience writing tunes for a bunch of cars...and from what I have read, it wasn't a seamless transition due to his involvement with his customers, who didn't want to see him go, and the the legal stuff of proprietary ownership between him and FSwerks...but my bottom, butt, derriere, is telling me that my stock 2014 Ford Fiesta ST with Randy's tune, is maddeningly fast, and totally docile in stop and go traffic...nothing goofy..but that shouldn't happen with any tune...anyway, Randy knows his stuff, and my smile is proof of that fact

I have both COBB OTS and Randy's Tune and I agree it is docile at idle I have not yet driven enough to see much change in upper end power and MPG if that is effected or not. still working on this datalog thing getting the timing right .. Now I see why the charge what they do for Dyno tunes.. It takes lots of time and dinking around in the guts of the ecu tune stuff .. Salute to anyone that can do it WELL.. thats all mentioned here btw

So, I tried out the Mountune "bespoke" tune that came with my AP (its essentially a "stage 3" ots) and WOW does it pull good. I saw as high as 23.69psi and it was still adding 4.5* of timing!

I can't wait for Randy to get my custom tune dialed in!

Bit the bullet and picked up an AP, so currently Cobb v102 St1-93. Since where i'm working the next few weeks has some very twisty roads headed out there, it was a fun drive to work this morning.

Glad to hear it and remember to turn off ESC or at least go into Sport mode.. I forgot a few times and the result when I came out of a corner (hiway off ramp in this case) made my turn and gave it the beans in second expecting a great pull to get my place in line all I got was 3500 rpm them bah bub bah bub bah no powa !! LOL now mind the road was a smidge damp so i had that going for me too.. into 3rd and all was fine never noticed the dash light but I was driving in traffic so I tend to watch out for other poeple not my dash

You have to realize that the Cobb tunes are OTS tunes and designed to be able to work for everyone, everywhere. There has to be additional safety built into it so that the guy who uses it in Denver won't blow his engine, even if that sacrifice is made to the guy that lives in Tampa. Mountune, FreekTune, Unleashed, etc., will have their own base tune based on their testing that should be a bit better than the OTS tunes and then they'll have you do a few datalog runs to verify and tweak it a little more.

In terms of gains-
Stock < OTS tunes < Pro Tuners base maps < Pro Tuners custom maps

I too have a Cobb AP and running a tune from Randy at mountune.
I had a FiST owner as a passenger the other day and his comment was "Mine doesn't run this good".
I did some twisties with old Mini buddies yesterday morning and they were amazed.

I love my FiST!
That just doesn't sound right.
