I just ordered the 2J and maf extension, [MENTION=952]frankiefiesta[/MENTION] can you take a pic of how tight the fit is with the EWG?
Sure thing. FYI I'm running a BP racing (eBay) manifold with a v band flange welded on. Sent it to sourskittle to have this done. It actually is a perfect fit. Not touching the cowl and no where near the 2J intake.

You may have bought it from the vendor Sith Racing but it's the Turbo Tech Racing (TTR) mount, it's literally engraved right on it in the picture.
Yes sir. Very correct. I ordered it weeks ago, hit "pay" and hardly thought of it at all until it showed up yesterday. But that is def the company, its not one of the 6 other ones on the market.

I doubt its lighter. But... Its NOT like the new one is 45lbs and the old one is 22oz.
For 93.78% of us, the weight difference isn't going to matter at all.

My buddies focus one is 6.8lbs ( we weighed it at the same time this morning ).

Me just trying to dump info really, lol

Are you going to port the cylinder head?
I wanted to.
I asked Russ to find me bigger valves.
But then I researched DFI and what porting the heads can do, and the head-aches that it can cause combined with my lack of tuning skill just made it not worth it to me.

Instead, I chickened out. Had the valves cleaned and shimmed, and had the head decked flat/cleaned. Just wanted to make sure this head didn't have issues.

Good thinking. You'd have to go through the VE tuning all over again on your tune. And even then, there's no guarantee that the increased port volume would help you make more power. Larger ports and larger exhaust manifold/header volume means LOWER port velocity and even later spool. Those kind of changes usually only make big gains up top.

In my research for porting the head, I found that motorcycle ( real ones, GSX-R's, R1's, CBR-RR's, ZX6R's ) were going as far as JB-welding the ports SMALLER, and re-porting them smooth to bring up velocity. Also read surface castings wasn't a game changer and I also plan to run fuel through the intake ports which made polishing the runners pointless too...

It all added up to "F-it, I'm tired of driving my Lexus everyday, I want my car back ".

Traction bar
Cold pipe
Passenger mount
DHM race cooler.

I'm not used to those types of mods building up dust around the house....
