It works, lol.
Ok... So I used my nasty looked thingy to lock down the internal wastegate arm, so its all on the external gate now.
Drove to get some Tee-fittings at the parts store with no vacuum lines and it made a peak boost pressure of 20.40psi.
Got to parts place and cobbled up some tee's in conjunction with some old oem fist vaccum lines and squeeze fittings stolen from 5-7-9 extra boost control solenoids I have.
Ran the lines like I posted earlier. And BAMMMM magic. 28.8psi peak.
The downside of course its that my boost map is all wrong, and the turbo tries to make 28psi above 6,000rpm still. Got some ugly corrections
So I need to tune in the boost map, which.... I had actually been planning for this. Cobb reset my damn boost map like 2-3 months ago with there latest firmware update, so if I changed anything in my tunes, I was also going to have to reset my boost map. (The old maps were not compatible with the new firm ware ). Now I have an excuse to do it either way.
Pulled 32lbs per min, lol.
Also check this out..
I also installed my tial diaphragm since I had the gate out/off again. Its odiously higher quality. But I wouldn't say its required at all. But here is the "dunk test" after this gate has been ran on my car for about 350miles. It does have 1 slow tiny bubble spot. It prob seals up when it warms up inside of in cold ass water. This was at like 25psi; the valve seal and guide did not leak at all.
