Just so I'm reading this correct - the base price INCLUDES a protune?

10% off doesn't hurt either!!
Yes! Bryan sends us C39 turbos, we install a DHM 17psi Turbosmart WGA, we leak test and test from proper preload on each WGA, we also install a Turbosmart Dual Port BOV, we leak test the BOV and then we include a DHM single fuel ProTune!

At the end of the day you receive a turn key set up right from DHM

Did you have an ATP turbo then proceed to upgrade to a bigger turbo? I'm confused because I thought they were all considered "big turbos."
I bought the ATP adapter off of another forum member. Planned on buying a gtx2863 with tial turbine housing. Never went through with it though. Ended up with a precision turbo and just as happy

If I may ask, how do you plan on keeping up with orders on these? Between forum members orders and your orders, are these kits made to order? I imagine they could be backordered prettty quickly if one man is making these turbos, or did he create a huge run of these prior to pairing with you guys?

He ships them 4 at a time to me and I stock them. Back orders should never get past 1-2 weeks

Just a little update for everyone. We hit the dyno yesterday finally after several issues to work out. The big delay is i can only leave the shop once a week for dyno tuning. so if a little issue causes us to pull the car off we have to wait a whole week to try again. Hence the fact it has taken a month to get to this point!

This is bigmanlittlecar 's FiST

2015 Fiesta ST
DHM Factory Fit intercooler coated black
DHM 3" catless DP
Cobb intake with Stock Air Box
Stock Exhaust
DHM ST280 (C39 turbo, DHM Turbosmart 17psi WGA, Turbosmart Plumb back BOV)

93oct and e30 tune

This is not my normal Dynojet i use. The ignition pick up was giving some funky issues hence the blank spot in the pull. Also once we switch to e30 and turned the boost up we found a boost leak that on the 4th or 5th pull got to the point it we could actually hear it and seen a big power lose. Also the Coated black factory fit was seeing 105-115deg charge air temps on a 45deg day. This obviously affects power output as well.

After the boost leak was fixed back at the shop the car felt amazing on the street though!

DHM's Review of the C39

I really love this turbo. If i had a 2nd Fiesta ST that would be just a daily this is the turbo i would get. The hard donkey kick of tq is reduced but still there enough to spin the tires and the hp is there up top to keep the tires spinning. The over 4000rpms of usable power makes this a crazy set up. This car is a great example of that it had a 3" catless dp and a factory fitment intercooler. Imagine this turbo with a bigger intercooler, bigger exhaust, and bigger intake! Easy 15-20whp left on the table. Im sure with the boost leak fixed this car would have made 5-10more whp than it did. Just like anything we will continue to improve on package and turbo kit like we do with everything!

^^So I am guessing that you would at least strongly suggest, if not state as a requirement your Race IC and crashbar for these C39 setups?

How much would you estimate is left on the table with everything else optimized, but with a fully stock/factory intake?

It at all. I don't make statements unless I have tested several options.

As for power I without a doubt think this turbo will hit 300whp with the right set up.

Depends on the dyno set up, perhaps there is limited air being passed over the intercooler? I know some run big ass blower fans in front for simulated air flow at speed.

I won't be going with the DHM crashbar, will be getting a direct fit intercooler.

Yea all we had at this place was a normal round shop fan blowing air.
