Well, it's Fall again.
About a decade ago now, I created a thread titled, "Who keeps piss'n in my Escort !?! (smell from blower)".
The title was my sense of humor of course.
Debris would pile up in the reservoir beneath the windshield because Ford never screened it off.
Getting in there to clean up underneath required a bit of work; removing the cowling beneath the windshield.
So screened it off myself, only to wish I had done so about fifteen years sooner.

So my question is, has anyone yet done similar with their FiST?
What was involved in getting access to that reservoir?

NOPE...quit parking outside.... Problem solved! when I do I keep away from Trees due to debris and leaves falling into the cowl area.

I removed the cowl piece for my spring installation and took the opportunity to clean under there then. I also cleaned and armorall'd the cowl its self. Gives the overall look of the car that extra bit when its clean and nice a black.

Removing the cowl is super easy, 4- 10mm bolts and 2- 15mm for the wipers and a bunch of clips. You do have to take out the headlamps. Once you take it out once it might never go back as it was before (might have a small gap from the window).
