Ordinarily, I would say no. As some of you have probably seen I’ve been chasing down a knock issue for the past year or so. I decided to take it to AutoZone to get a diagnostic ran.
Currently, I have a P0420, C0037–29, C003A-29, U0401-00, U0401-68, and U0420–86.
Not really worried about the P0420 cuz I do have an aftermarket downpipe.
But is it possible for the abs system to cause knock?
I would think it would only cause an issue if I’m braking but I get random knock just blipping the throttle. Light load, WOT, medium load, etc. sometimes I’ll get -3° of correction and other times I see nothing.
i’m not sure how long I have had these codes. I have tried using the access port to diagnose it, but I guess stored codes don’t show up on there. Any insight is appreciated thank you!!
