Buzzing/Vibration in steering wheel, balance OK

Just swapped out my stock rims at 800 miles to go to comfortable P7 Cinturatos. I had the tire shop spin them on the Hunter GSP and do RoadForce. Now,they're pretty smooth all the way up to about 70MPH. Around 70-80MPH (maybe higher), it has a buzzing sensation as if excessive road noise is being picked up. The wheel doesn't vibrate visible and the chassis seems vibration free. I cannot observe vibration in the mirrors, or seats. It seems to be excessive road feedback...is this normal to you all?

I'm just wondering, because my Miata is like this and this is my wife's car so I didn't really have too much seat time. The RF was under #15, so that's reasonably good. Is the stiff suspension and light weight contributing to this ?

Thanks,
A

Could it be your wheels still seating in maybe with a few more miles in them they will break in and be smooth as butter

Maybe those specific tires are just causing a weird harmonic. Different tread patterns and sidewall constructions can cause funky issues.

Fixed. Use a vibration analyzer to determine it was the wheel/tire. The tech was balancing them all within force of 16 on the GSP9700. However, we slipped the bead and got it down to 5. A little vibration, but pretty damn good at 75. Final outcome was

Front tires - L & R 5 of RF
Rear tires - L 14, R 16 of RF

I'll probably spin the rear tires and get it a little lower, but I'm going to wait until they break in a little more.

Thanks,
A

Solved.

Solved with another RF after spinning the tire on both fronts.
