Mustang Ecoboost owner that needed a fun commuter. Not fond of using the pony for a 116 mile commute.

But before buying the FiST even I have run into the infamous blend door issue as the car has that problem. The dealer agreed to knock $500 off for the problem and provide me with the replacement parts since he was not able to have it ready for me before I scheduled to pick it up. (What it would cost in labor for them.) I figured based on what I have seen I can replace them in the dealership parking lot real quick before making the 4 hour drive home. (Mustang has same issue, all Fords seem to, so familiar with the parts and process.)

Asking $12,250 including everything which I considered a fair price if not a bit suspicous. Car is bone stock as far as I can tell and in really good condition considering miles. I am guessing warranty ran out and previous owner decided to bail after a $500+ quote to fix the blend door actuators...

I am buckling up as this could turn out to be an adventure but hoping it turns into a reliable fun commuter with the occassional replacement actuator being the possibility of a necessary evil.

Is there anything else in particular I should be on the look out for? I test drove one and noticed these little 1.6s tick a lot, is that normal?
