This hose is broken connecting to my intercooler and cold air intake. I noticed it was broken after the intake fell off when I was driving. I am not sure if it correlates at all. It also gave me this code right after. Please help!!
You should fix that because it'll mess with the maf readings and won't calculate the correct air flow readings and will mess up your fuel trims but that's not the reason that code is popping up. That code pops up when the tune has messed with the torque tables for the car and it's overshooting them. Talk with your tuner and see if theyll turn the p061a off for you.
To get that repaired, it looks as though the bung is broken. That hose is your cold side intercooler hose. The hose coming out of it, I'd need to see where it goes but it should be your EVAP purge valve but it doesn't look damaged in the pictures you provided.
I think I see why your saying the hose is broken now, it took a minute looking at it. So your saying that the plastic on the bung is broken, I agree it looks crushed. Is this Cobbs solution or an OEM EVAP harness? Cuz it looks like one I've used before and I feel like it's Cobbs.
I believe the rust looking substance is the silicone previously used by the other owner to temporarily repair the crack but now the hose is completely broken.

Since you have an aftermarket intake and just bought the car don't complicate it. Just order this. https://whoosh-motorsports.myshopif...-to-convert-2016-fiesta-st-to-2014-2015-specs I don't advocate specific vendors but ron's a really good guy. That is an OEM conversion to the earlier 2015 style EVAP harness. It's from ford but they stopped putting it in these cars and made a 2 piece harness that doesn't work with aftermarket intakes. This will replace the entire thing and work 100% I've been using mine for almost 3 years with no issues.
When you get in there and do the repair, you may find that silicon is hiding more than it's letting on though, be prepared. You may need to buy a new cold side charge pipe if that bitch is cracked. It's made of cheap plastic but the aftermarket ones you can buy are aluminum so they'll be more sturdy. Unless you plan to just buy another OEM cold pipe

I've got to sat that looks like a job for tape. Black, vinyl, sticky tape. Duct, duck, electrical, Gorilla, Flex. Actually, just saw the Flex brand - that may do it for you!
