"This video demonstrates the differences in what happens with airflow when the deflectors are not in place vs. what happens when you install the Boomba Deflectors. As you can clearly see in the video, with the deflectors installed the air is channeled into the wheel where it can work to cool your braking system. This was proven with constant temperature drops throughout testing."
Fiesta will have its own video in a couple of days as well as some data. The average temperature drop is about 50 degrees from what we were seeing before the deflectors were installed.
$135 for just the deflectors...... what will the cost be for the deflectors + custom dust shield ducts? Furthermore, how difficult is it to remove the oem rotor dust shield? What happens when you move that water/fog stream further away from the deflector in that video??

The OEM dust shield is super easy to remove. Literally three bolts hold it on. If you can change your brakes, you can remove the shields. If we were to move the smoke further back in the video, due to wind turbulence the smoke would dissipate before the air reaches the deflector. We should have a Fiesta specific video either today or Monday.
Just ordered oem dust shields to build something myself like 5 days ago, lol. The oem shields are $4.50 if anyone wants to get a set to mod/play with, without having to take the car apart first
Once I get my oem dust shields, I may mod them to "catch" some of that redirected air, and be cut out beside that. Basically just a small tab that sticks out, but won't contact anything at full lock/full droop/full compression.
