How have you liked the symposer BOV kit? I'm looking into BOV options and not sure what to get yet.
It's fantastic. I'm not 100% how to tighten/ loosen it to adjust it, but, it's nice and loud; exactly what I was looking for. My new problem is finding a BOV that bolts onto the turbo, because my new charge pipes are gonna remove the symposer branch-off hose, eliminating the usability of my VeePort.

If anyone has any recommendations, I'd love to know.

I went with a Turbosmart dual port BOV. I mean it does sound really nice but I think the symposer ones sound way better.

I mine actually makes a higher pitched, really fast "sneeze" like sound when I'm creating boost (I'm currently maxing at around 25.5psi on stock turbo). Like I've said previously though, I am under the impression that I WILL be losing my symposer port and hose on the cold-side charge pipe (the one between intercooler and intake manifold, if there was confusion with how I said it) if I change to CP-E's charge pipes.

The sound is starting to grow on me, first it was really loud but maybe I just got used to it. I just which it created the old school turbo flutter from back in the 90s lol.

Get the CPE exhale kit then. It’ll have a flange for a Tial Q or an HKS. I got the one with the tial and I love it.

I'll certainly have to take a look at that. Not sure if I want to move away from TurboSmart, they've already spoiled me enough with my VeePort.

My hks is clear and loud mounted where it is.
Where is it located?

Turbosmart kompact shorty. It’s actually pretty quiet, once you get on it you get that loud whoosh but I like it it’s not obnoxious
Not necessarily looking for quiet. I want it heard as much as possible.

Look into it for sure. I’ll try to get some sound clips later today maybe. If it helps, tial waste Hayes and blow off valves are what comes with all the Peron and WOR big turbo kits. Very good well built u it’s. So much so that there are fake ones floating around on eBay I think.

I talked to our guy Mitch from cp-e, and I think I'm going to go with a DualPort bolted on the turbo (planning on S280 now), with the Meth charge pipes. However correct me if I'm wrong, but he said something about the S280 coming with it's own charge pipe.. this accurate?

It comes with a hot side charge pipe. The meth port pipe is usually a cold side pipe. I don’t think anyone does meth injection into the hot side.

If you are planning on going big turbo, you need a true blow off valve. You have to install it at the symposer location and use a blank off plate at the stock diverter valve location. A diverter valve style bov is useless with a true big turbo like a GTX2860R.
Why is the diverter valve considered worthless on a big turbo? My buddies Mazdaspeed 3 used a diverter valve on the stock turbo which, is a K04, compared to a KP39 is massive.

Because it won't fit. A stock type diverter valve fits on the turbo. A true big turbo does not have a diverter valve mounting point on the compressor case. You have to use a blow off valve.

Interesting the DV on the MS3 feeds off of the top mounted intercooler and dumps right back into the intake, I had no idea where the FiSTs DV was, so TIL.

Same situation here. Which is the best 50/50 setup for an s280? Whoosh Symp port or the TS 50/50?
