Bonnet wont close

Hi, got a slight issue with the bonnet and was wondering if anyone could help, i took the driver side headlamp off to get access to my intake filter, once everything was screwed back up in place and i tried to close the bonnet it wouldn’t close properly again, i watched a couple youtube videos troubleshooting and after trying their solutions still no joy, it seems to be a problem with the secondary catch, im not sure if maybe the bumper has fallen down slightly because there is quite a noticeable gap between both headlight lamps and the bumper, the bonnet lever inside the car has always been a little loose so im not sure if its to do with the wire thats runs from the lever to the bonnet catch system? Im clueless, any help would be appreciated, thanks. ( I’ve attached a video and photo witht his thread )

Only time mine has done this is when I didn't put the cable back correctly after tinkering with things and it blocked the latch from closing all the way. Worth checking if you haven't ruled that out.

Tried that mate after reading ur comment but still no joy unfortunately, really frustrating, the bonnet closes all the way but the secondary catch just doesn’t hold it down so it springs right back up, ive packed it in for tonight it was doing my head in lol cheers for the suggestion tho appreciate it mate
