Do you guys have an in house dyno? I am not ready just yet but I may actually just ship it to you guys to do everything A to Z... Guessing round trip should only be around $1000 or so... Would be worth it to me to make sure everything gets done right!

We plan on getting a dyno over the winter. We use various local Dynos now. Normal car freight to ny would be close to that figure.

I've only seen one guy that was disappointed with his big turbo fist ( and he sold the car ).. But seems most the big turbo guys are happy.

On the other hand... Cyborg, cool air, race gas, pro-tune, and slicks and you'd go high 12's. And it would be a good daily driver as well. But... This car isn't really meant for drag strip racing, even though its having some success doing do.
Talking about me lol? If I could do it again I'd go cyborg via Sourskittle for up to 280 whp or GT2560R with a modified compressor wheel for higher output potential perhaps in the 360 whp range, but that'd be modified GT2560R and wmi for sure. You'd be milking that turbo, but you'd have a better power band that's for sure. I'm going gtx2971r with a stroked 2.3 shortblock on my 2015 focus st to make sure I don't run into spool issues and still get into the mid 400's. Also I'm cat less now. Catless makes a pretty good difference in spool.

Also having the right manifold for the job makes a pretty good difference too. And the a/r, and the tuner, etc., etc.

ATP didn't let me choose the a/r on the kit. Some of the kits they let you choose, but others they don't. Depends on the turbo. Also yes, the stock manifold is the size of a marker!

First of all wheels, tyres and lose some unnecessary weight (widows all around, carbon hood stuff like this) then transmission( flywheel, clutch and the quaife LSD) and last gain some 50-70hp.. Only if I had your budget man....

Those things enhance traction and power to weight ratio. They don't add power.

Everyone knows it's the stickers that add horsepower. duh..

But in all seriousness. Removing weight only will make your car make better use of the power you already have, not add any, by allowing it not have have so much weight to move. Increasing your power to weight ratio.

Anyone know the limits of the valvetrain? I see you all are taking them out to 7k or so but has anyone seen or have issues with valve float or coil bind?

My car goes out to 7400-7500, at least once a day. No issues to report or reported among the Dead Hook big turbo crowd. Russ of Dead Hook Motorsports had his own car revving out to 7800, I believe... I can't remember. Anyway, the ECU will stop you with a hard code and you can't rev out past 8k, so the limits haven't been found.
