Any big differences between the 2015's and 16's ?

I plan on buying a 2016 mainly to autocross. Does anyone know if there are any major differences between the 15's and 16's especially regarding if the stability/traction control defeatability is still the same.

Sync 3, no backup camera, ebony wheel option. AFAIK none of the stuff you mention is revised.

Red calipers also come standard (rado grey wheels as well, as previously mentioned ebony wheels are now the option). Although I have seen two 2016's with the old silver calipers, both were on white platinum models. Traction control remains the same.

Unless Ford fixed it at the factory, the Ebony wheels were shipping with silver calipers and the Rado grey wheels got the red calipers. I don't think the grey wheels were supposed to come standard with the red calipers, but the black wheels were supposed to come with them.

As was stated, Sync 3 is the biggest change. Wheel color and exterior paint colors changed.

I'm a Ford salesperson, they pretty much nailed it already. Aside from calipers and the freaking awesomely fast SYNC 3, not much has changed.
And really there's so little profit IN a Fiesta to start with the only reason to get a '15 as opposed to a '16 is if the dealership is willing to cut the '15 more just to move the metal.

Did I mention that SYNC 3 is drastically better though? Still no back up cams. how odd is that? you can get heated seats but no back up cam.

I didn't have any extensive use with the MFT system so it's hard to compare. I feel like the Sync 3 still lacks in response. My closest comparison being with my smartphone. I feel like there's a more immediate response on my phone than the touchscreen on the Sync 3 system has, and I feel my phone gets slow at times. If this is considered better than the MFT system then I really feel bad for any MFT owners. I like my technology to be pretty quick though and I don't really like mobile stuff all that much because its generally underpowered and slower to reduce heat and power consumption. Most my personal and work computers are running Intel Core i7s or something decent and with SSD boot drives that will boot the computer in 10-15 seconds. So I don't know, maybe the lag I feel is something most people have no problem with or else my specific Sync 3 system is just slow... I'm still dealing with bugs on the Sync 3 system related to music playback on both of my iPod nanos and an iPhone 4 that I was given for the sole purpose of getting music working correctly on my car. The iPhone 4 has been the most successful but even with that the Sync 3 system doesn't do what my aftermarket Pioneer head unit had no problem doing. I like to just keep my music in the car and an old iPod is the easiest way to do that, but so far my plans have been thwarted. If they would release an update to get one of my 3 devices working completely I could look past the slight lag.

I'm happy it didn't come with a backup cam. I don't like the ugly sensors that come with it that get put in the rear bumper cover and they didn't really integrate the camera with the car that well on the regular Fiesta. I rented a Focus for a week and it had a backup cam. I barely used it, it was mostly a novelty. The heated seats on the other hand...I didn't think I'd really care about them or use them that much, but once it got cold I use them every morning it gets real cold now and I live in North Texas. It provides the heat I need while the car is still warming up.

My 2016 magnetic FiST has regular rado wheels and non painted calipers. As others have said, Intake is a bit different so make sure if you purchase an aftermarket one it is for a 2016. I know MAP is making an updated intake :)

It took some time and effort, but I got my dealer to replace my silver calipers with red ones on my 16 with ebony wheels.
Same here, my dealer is working on getting the parts in hand to be ready for my FiST's first checkup. I had a case with Ford thanks to FordService for them to reference, so they didn't give me any hassle over it.

Make sure they ordered red calipers AND red brackets. It took two trips for me since they didn't order red brackets the first time.
