I called air lift last january, they blew me off. I decided if i were ever to go air I could easily piece together the things I
need. So they lost at least me as far as demand
I can't speak on their behalf but I just know how it is with companies producing parts for cars that aren't as mainstream as other applications like I explained in my earlier post. At the end of the day, these businesses are in business to make money and spending a ton of time (and money) R&D'ing product for a car they're not sure they'll sell a lot of product might just not make sense.

Anyhow, I had a little time on my lunch break to yesterday to install the Cobb Tuning intercooler kit. I figured I'd change it up a little bit and had it powder coated black to match all of the piping that comes with the kit so that's why it may look a little different.

After getting the bumper off, it was maybe a twenty minute install between removing the stock one and installing the other one. Easy installation to say the least.

Cobb supplied stencil laid down:

Committing.

Done...

... and done!

Car's looking great!
I'm still very intrigued as to its final colour?

Also, when you've identified the source of the LED fog lights, please, I'm VERY interested. I'm holding off having my plastics painted gloss black until I can source the better fog lights you have. [rockon]

Thank you sir - impatiently waiting until after I get it home from SEMA to start driving it the way it needs to be driven!

Like I said before about the color, some will like it, some will hate it. Either way, I love it and the folks at Ford love it so at the end of the day...

The fog lights are from a company called Coplus based in Taiwan. I've spoken to them about maybe getting some sets out here but they're waiting to see how they work on my car and another project we're working on to make sure they pass various regulations, etc.

Thanks for the info. I just had a look at their site and checked out their Eco biLight2. I might order some anyway and take a chance.

... just got home from putting in a few more hours on the Air Lift kit and it's almost complete. Everything is mounted and now it's time to fine tune the height and get everything calibrated. Below is a picture of how the rear sits right now and it still has room to go quite a bit lower. [hihi] Another day tomorrow to get everything set up and then I can finally cross the air install off my list.

I recently looked it up and someone is making Ronal Teddies again. They only come in 5"x14" though. I was hoping to grab a set for the winter :)

I just got home from a few more hours putting the car back together and found this at my front door - the Cobb Tuning intake and exhaust hanger kit.

finally fine tuned the ride height on the Air Lift kit, we had to move the camber plates in to clear the fenders allowing it to sit lower... and before anyone asks, no, these are not the wheels on the car.

Is this the one you are putting the Triple R Splitter on?
