Although we're on a 2020 Connect, repainting your calipers is easy and can be done on any car, but is very time consuming. You will need to plan on keeping the car immobile for at least 6 hours if you're doing all four calipers. over the weekend had a chance to repaint our old blue calipers red. using brake clean, tooth brush and other sanding or cleaning products, I was able to clean and prep the blue calipers for the new paint. Using Por-15 red and a foam brush, we've found that dabbing the paint on the caliper with the foam brush works better than just using a spray can or paint brush. masking tap is also needed to protect the rotors and brake lines. The best thing about this is that we're able to paint over the blue caliper paint and even though the first red coat looked like crap.. the por-15 is self leveling.. But we will have to recoat these again in a few weeks for the final finish.
We've since lost the center caps and change the lugs. repainted the hub area gold to match the end cap on the lugs.
