Adjusting Koni Yellows

So last week I took the rears off and set them one full turn back from full stiff. Compressed both and made sure they rebounded the same (thanks green_henry for the tip there). Ride is significantly better and rear end feels way more composed on bumpy roads vs stock. Only problem is after adjusting I'm now getting a squeak coming from the rear right any time the suspension compresses. Gonna take a look under there tomorrow and make sure all bolts are torqued and the spring is seated properly. Any ideas on what else to check?

Did you upgrade the spring isolators? When I installed the Powerflex isolators, I think I put a thin film of Mobil 1 grease between the isolator and the spring (based on my past experience with bushings and sway bars on other cars).

I know it's an old post, but referring to the over dampening problem, I replaced my struts front and rear with base model dampers and the ride is BUTTER smooth now. For $200 and a couple hours on a lift it was a good change IMO.

Stock ST struts have an extra elephant ear for a vibration damper on the shock body that the base models don't. This is a non-issue though and I haven't felt any noticable changes in vibrations or sounds at speed. The valving is softer forsure but not underdamped for the stock springs.
