10% off Holiday sale is over but we have this deal for all members here.

Code Discount
raampack1 $10 off package #1
raampack2 $15 off package #2
raambxt $5 off a bulk pack

These really are the best products for the money on the market, absolutely:)

The discount may not seem that high but our low margin retail prices are the best in the industry for the quality you get, add the package discounts and the additional ones above and there is nothing else even close you can buy that will do what this will do for your great cars.

------------------------

RAAMmat combined with PS Ensolite is the best value in quality products at retail and we have package deals, then add in the 10% off for the next month, nothing else comes anywhere close to what you get for the money.

Google up RAAMmat or RAAMaudio and you will see this is the real deal, best deal, great deal:)

The vast majority will want package #1 as it will take care of all the critical areas quite well with a total added weight of 18-19lbs.

Absolute must follow the HOW TO guide and check out the Vehicle Fitment guide as well on raamaudio.com for the best results.

Tens of thousands of vehicles around the world done this way, many world champion audio comp vehicles as well(they tend to use a great deal more product but the same methods)

I will be doing my car before long and make a guide for the ST but mine will be using less mat, some aluminum channels and acoustical foam to save more weight. My regular HOW TO guide on my site shows how a more normal install is done but the doors are quite different on this car so I will work something out for them. I will probably add around 10lbs to the car but have taken out around 200 and putting back in around 50 so the car will still be significantly lighter than stock, the labor time for my car will take 2-3 times longer, or more, just to do it as light as I can.

This is an exclusive deal for members only but anybody that wants to join the forum can get in on it.

Have a great day:)
Rick

Absolutely, that is the primary purpose some do this and others more for the audio improvement but it works equally well at both and is a thermal barrier to help keep things warmer in the cold and cooler in the heat.

Even stock audio systems are improved as less noise to overcome, get to play it lower so easier on the ears, same as higher end audio in that regard.

These cars are not going to be limo quiet, stiff bushings, hatch, and or loud tires, there is only so much we can do but certainly make it better:)

Good deal RAAM.
I wish we could get your products down under.
I am definitely doing my cabin (with something).
I dont want to add major weight but it sounds like your gear is good for that.

As per the PM I used to ship all over the world for a very good rate but USPS stopped offering surface mail for packages and the rates are nuts now. I am retired but Jason has shipped some orders there lately though pretty costly. Sometimes just the Ensolite as it is hard to find and I have never seen a product that does what it does, original version was developed by NASA for the space program and aerospace and at least the same if not different version is still used a great deal in aircraft manufacturing, we actually buy more than Boeing and are the biggest seller of it by a landslide.

My advice, keep the mat to a minimum to save weight, very careful use will take care of the need for mat but the foam, the more the better, when I do my install it might get as much as 6 running yards or more. For the average person wanting the very best for the time and cost the package #1 will be the way to go. For those wanting to save more weight, are OK with much more time to do the install, less mat can be used but more foam and taking far more of the vehicle apart. The doors, rear qtr panels, hatch and a bit of the rear floor are very important, kick panels a bit there, line what can be reached under the dash with Ensolite, all the most important parts are then done.

For those wanting to do the best for least weight, approx 20 sq ft of mat and 5-6 yards of the Ensolite

For those not concerned with weight, can be a bit less careful to use it exactly where needed, etc...one pack of mat and 5-6 yards

For those considering an audio comp built they might use 1.5 - 2 packs and 6+ yards of Ensolite.

Free is dang fine indeed:)

Since I own the company, 80% now instead of 100%, I have done many installs for "free"

And I am still a dealer for my favorite audio brand so all my gear is at great prices, especially when building demo vehicles:)

Working on it buddy, I had more pressing matters to take care of first then got a bit of an injury, now catching up and will be back on the install soon. I guess I can start a thread on it since the hatch door and sides are done and they are the most important on this car.

Just ordered 5 yards ensolite. Yes shipment was expensive but have not seen this product elsewhere,
and i want the best material when i'm using a lot of time installing it. I'm also not the first guy from Norway buying this,
read good things about it on Norwegian forums. I will buy the mats on ebay i think, something called fatmat is supposed to be good.
I wanted 7 yards but limit was 5 yards in one shipment.
100$ for ensolite and 62$ for shipment[hihi]

Thanks for the order, sorry shipping is so nuts, it used to be very reasonable but USPS stopped offering surface mail.

I do not know what they are doing right now but in the past Fatmat was not a good product, it was asphalt based roofing material sold as sound deadening, I am not kidding, lots of it fell off, I have seen it, I have had many reports of it, RAAMmat was bought to replace it. I heard they had a new owner awhile back and may of changed but back then, not so, be careful what you buy.

RAAMmat can be shipped via priority flat rate box but usually around 18 instead of 20 sheets, email Jason and see what he can do for you:)

FIY,
RAAMmat BXTII and PS Ensolite, a big order came in when I was still running the company and I noted it was from an aerospace company so I gave them a call to see what they ordered it for. I talked to the engineer in charge of the project for the air handlers and ducting on the very cool to be a part of....

International Space Station Training Center Mockup

I asked why they picked my products and he said it was because the quality to cost ratio was the best he found, it was all they needed at a great price.

There are more expensive products that are either thicker than needed in most areas, more highly marketed, etc....but not really better.

As the very first to have a quality product for a lower price, 15+ years ago, that just did the job and saved my fellow enthusiasts their hard earned money, taking care of them was and always has been number one priority, not profit, that comes from doing the right thing.

OK, sounds like a sales pitch, just really saying what the true backbone of the business is, taking care of you.

I have been honored beyond all measure by helping tens of thousands around the world achieve their goals and save money:)

I am retird but I want my fellow enthusiasts to know the real story about sound deadening as there is a huge amount of BS in the industry.

I found a way to deaden my own vehicle for competition that was far, far less than the then going price of Dynamat which I knew was insanely overpriced. It was made for me specifically to test and it is still in my ex comp truck and doing fine 15+ years later.

Then I thought, hey, "my buddies can use this stuff and save some money", not, I can make a killing off this, or I can sell roofing crap as sound deadening and rip people off or use my name and fancy advertising to overcharge people for a comparable product.

It has had 8 revisions and even a new manf at one point to make it better and better and now working on making it as green as possible, we have been using 40% recycled aluminum for years, recyled packaging has been partial, looking at the best fully recycled material, studying things like renewable fibers, etc.......

I barely advertised, only been a vendor a tiny bit on two forums and did not like it so stopped, word of mouth, low operational costs, tens of thousands of my fellow enthusiasts helped, home based from day one, it has been the most wonderful way of life I could ever imagine:)

I really just want to help, I already get compensated quite nicely as it is.

Most sincerely:)
Rick

I emailed with Jason and we sorted it out. Upgraded my order to 18 sheets and 7 yards of Ensolite.
Shipment where still the expensive one, but total price is good.(Still a lot sheeper than buying dynamat here in norway, even with expensive shipment)
With priority flat rate box he could fit 16 sheets and 2 yards ensolite(Or probably 18 sheets)
I will use this if i need more sheets.
I have a really load exhaust because of big turbo and non resonated exhaust, you think i should order more sheets?
What weight increase will i get after I install this?

Great!

One thing that did not come up until now, at least I did not see it until now, there is a huge amount of acoustical energy in a loud exhaust and the cabin vents under the rear bumper cover open when the HVAC system is in use which means the rubber flaps are open, letting noise in.

One a sedan, not much issue, in a hatch, wagon, SUV, etc....much more so.

Sound deadening will help and make the whole driving experience nicer, make the car more solid feeling and make the stock or upgraded audio system sound better, it will even help thermally to keep you more comfortable.

What it cannot do in some cases is overcome a very high level of added noise from a really loud exhaust, not completely.

Depending on your personal level of acceptance you may or may not be satisfied with the results, if not, you will have to modify the exhaust as the deadening is not the issue at that point, you could add a huge amount more and it would not fix the problem, I know from helping tens of thousands work this out and dozens of my own installs.

You will like the results all the other ways, I really hope it is just enough to make you happy in the noise reduction of your exhaust.

If you are running catless, no resonator or no muffler, you might have to add one of those.

Most sincerely,
Rick
