Where should I be looking? DHM looks promising but I'm new to this car so I will defer to the knowledge of the forum, perhaps I'm overlooking something.

I've seen some great numbers on ethanol but it just isn't available in WNC.

Uh... I don't wanna be the negative nancy here, but a few questions...

Why 350 plus?
is there a particular goal you have in mind?
will this be a street car?

but yeah.. I am not aware of anything pass 300 on 93... I'd be interested to know as well.. just to know.

I'd probably be looking at something that's not powered by a 1.6l engine with a baby turbo, just to start off with.

This. Why would you buy a FiST with this being your HP goal? Don't get it. Is it possible? Maybe. May need Stratified Aux Fueling. High HP is not the goal of this car especially with the fueling limitations of the stock HPFP. As others have said, I would give Russ a call.

Dude i always see you giving people a hard time about there plans for their cars, whether it's cuz they post too much or cuz they want too much power. Why buy a fist if you want 350hp? Well why the F not? Guys like Russ or Hijinx are always looking for more or better, this is a young platform that's being explored constantly. So, don't go losing your shit on people just cuz of their curiosity. Aren't you dumping the cyborg and moving to the next best thing? But why? Would you do all that? It's just a fiesta?

Realistically, without doing an ethanol tune or running meth, you would need a very big turbo, bigger injectors, and probably still cams and full bolt-ons to get you there. You will run into issues at around 325hp with the fuel pump just not keeping up. I am not aware of anyone that makes bigger plug and play injectors, so you will likely need an aux fuel kit of some sort.

Hard time. If you read my comment to M-Sport you would see that I was asking him a legit question about chasing a number without even owning a FiST yet. Secondly, most on here with half a damn brain would say the same thing. This is not the ideal platform to chase high HP #'s. You want to go for 350who on 93? Go ahead, good luck. Even Russ will tell you it'll be hard. I'm not giving anybody a hard time. What are you? The Forum cop? I gave my opinion and o gave him a direction to seek a potential route to achieve his goals. Too many sensitive people on this forum.

Haha, no. You're the forum referee , you coming blowing the whistle every time some asks a questions about power and such. Let people ask questions and if you can't help then don't reply, let's not have another thread get shut down because of the cyborg crew, hey? Fiesta Fiesta[party]

I plan on running a stratified system and I don't have a problem with methanol. Cams, pistons and head studs might be a project for the spring.

Right now I'm looking for a good turbo kit that will allow the growth.

As for why I bought the fiesta, it was a space and driveway issue. I could have just as easily purchased a mustang but it would have intruded on my bike space in the garage. My driveway is at a rather steep angle from the road as well and I know from experience that a longish wheelbase lowered car will not make it without dragging the front end off.

Finally, I bought this car for a cold weather toy, it won't be driven in the rain or snow, I have a truck for that. When it's over fifty degrees or so I'm on one of my bikes.

350 at the wheels
At this time 350 at the wheels is gonna be hard to achieve. Like a few others have said, we run out of fuel around 300-330whp. However, stay tuned. There might be a way, and I'll find out soon enough.

With meth you can do it... Get with Russ at DHM.
I'm making 340~whp on 93oct and a single fogged meth kit right now. DHM uses much better turbos and has way more tuning chops than me.

Straight 93? I've gotten around 315-320whp with temps in the mid 70's here in Florida, but 350whp on 93oct is a tall order. It would need a large turbo, which comes with lag.
Either way, you should be having this conversation with DHM.

For 350, you will need aux fueling no matter what. You will probably need a meth setup for safety. Realize anything past the stock fuel limits of around 300 gets very expensive, very quickly. I trust the rods but I wouldn't trust the pistons long term at 350. Someone more experienced than me will have to chime in.

I'm planning to getting around 270 hp to the wheels with just 93, I'm a bit hesitant to trust aux fueling. If I want more power, I'm just going to use a crap-ton of meth and a 35-50 hp shot of N2O. I'm more comfortable with a conservative tune and just play the AFR of the nitrous, water, and meth by ear.

Really though, happy gas is a gift from the car gods. I imagine they look like vikings and have heavy metal playing in the background. N2O may be safer and cheaper...or you could melt a hole in one of your pistons...or nuke the block.

Good luck!

He actually has a pretty good point. Chasing hp is one thing but within reason on this car is completely another. Saying you want 350 on 93 only is going to be nearly impossible on this car but is possible with aux injection. Young platform yes, new motor not so much. Until a replacement HPFP is found its a stalemate.

I'd trust the rods before the pistons. It's happened twice in cars pushing into 420-430whp. Rods came out ok, but the pistons (cyl 3) were melted.
