Well I decided to keep the 2JR intake and give it a run. Thanks lessard for understanding. I like the COBB intake so I'm going to keep it for the future if I need it or if I change my mind again, lol. I'm still going to finish my heat shield for the COBB, but with further review Im not going to be able to match the cooler temps or flow of the 2JR. It's been really hot here the last couple of days and the intake temps have been pretty high and I really don't think shielding around the larger filter is going to lower it that much. Charge temps have been good though for the most part but I now feel will be better with the 2JR. Plus, the COBB intake, is interfering with my fuel line that sits a little higher due to my ECA...which bothers the crap out of me, lol. I'm adding a pre filter to the 2JR just in case and am gonna go by Ford to get one of those little cap/ hood seal things that my car didn't come with from factory. I really don't know why I'm missing them, lol. I didn't know they existed until this thread, lol.
