This is the exact same thing I was told by the same dealer. I even mentioned at two weeks ago in the order thread only to be derided and put down by a Canadian member who thought he knew better and used the motor1 sight or some such other sight for his reference and that supposed product brochure.
I went to Fords site and tried to do a build your own and wound up up with a dead end incomplete build and a link to 2017 pricing for a base 2017.
I probably would have bought from the numbe 1 store as well but they could not get me the Recaro package with the color I wanted. I am very close to an out of state purchase because of of that.

Omg, here we go again...
Lol at the fact that it is "supposed" product brochure. I guess a complete page on the Ford website is fake as well?

Fake News everywhere!
If they put out that much info for a 2018 model and finally it won't be available, Ford would be a complete joke.
The reason you were not able to build your own on the ford website is because they are updating the site. If you try to get to the building app directly with the "Shop/Build your own" menu on the home page or the Fiesta ST page, you will be sent to a dead link indeed, stating "This website will be or is currently being refreshed. Therefore, some content may not be available. Thank you for your patience during this maintenance period.".
But if you go to the normal Fiesta page and then click on the "Build and price" link, you will be sent to a builder that works and you will be able to choose the ST model. I tried it and it worked like a charm. And I was obviously on the US Ford website, using 12919 as a zip code.
