Got damn I love that Magnetic, Ebony wheel combo. Although I do love the fact that my color choice (IS) is no longer available.

If it can, it is going to be a lot of work and involve swapping the whole computer. From what we've read, Sync 3 uses an entirely different computer to handle the new processes and multi-touch capabilities of the system. So it certainly won't be as easy as a software upgrade, sadly [sad].

Yeah...I meant the whole system. Hopefully the wiring stayed the same so it wound be a remove and replace proposition.

I would think there are certain parts on the CAN bus or other that also were upgraded for newer protocol support. To me this is a completely new electronics in the car. That said nothing I see on the new Sync 3 makes me want it. What I have now works and I am not wanting any feature. Obviously others will want to new features. One thing I will say is I think there will be bugs in the Sync 3 which will have many many versions released to upgrade. In comparison sync 2 in mature and mostly rock solid.

On one hand, kinda sad not to have the black wheels and Sync 3.... on the other hand, I saved $3k by going with a '15 model.

My dealer is grabbing me an orange/orange, but had I known the '16s would be out so soon, I would've waited

Anyone noticed you can't select MO Recaros with the White Platinum?

So happy I didn't wait a year! I don't mind the Kona Blue, but rather have Performance Blue. Sad to see so few color options available for 2016. :(

I'm also glad I didn't wait (a couple extra months with the car and the dollars saved has been well worth it), but some of the paint/wheel combos are pretty sharp. The magnetic looks good on the car, and the MO paint with black wheels looks really killer.
