11 Months Ago From Standard 180 to a Remapped Stage 2 Little Beast.

Started my little project 11 months ago when I acquired for the first time my Mk7.5 2013 ST180. Been longing to get this super little car, and the price fell just right for me: £3600. I thought, what's the catch? No Catch 2 Owners, and it is almost mint the wheels were curbed, and one has a bent in it the size of a 10p. I said I would take it off the guy's hand for 4k if he got all the wheels reconditioned to factory standard and not to worry about tyres, as I had my mind set on getting the Michelin Pilot Sport 5s. And also get it MOT'ed.

I only spent, I would say, 1k with new mods, which include Turbosmart Booster Gauge, 2 Stage 2+ Vudu Intercooler, Maxton Design around lower extension kit (Spoiler extender, front diffuser, side skirts & rear corner diffuser). Bodywork decals, window decals around Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tyres and Vudu Performance Remapping Tool Kit with Stage 2 Remap Software.

Welcome, that's a nice looking car there. How are the Michelin Sport 5s?
Specifically, how is the turn in? I'm thinking about getting them and am looking for a quick agile handling tire, and they are newly available here.

It is a very Grippy, awesome tyre. The whole set cost me £500 minus the Fitting, so about £600. I also had the tracking redone whilst having them done for the amount the tyre cost; tracking is worth it. their 205/40/17

Thanks. The quickness, or the turn-in of the steering, is it quick or is it at all mushy? I'm more concerned with that than ultimate grip, because I just drive on the street and probably wouldn't exceed the ultimate grip driving it that way.

Michelin also offers that tire in a 215/40-17 over there and in Europe.

Of course, they would never offer U.S. the same.
