Hi all,

Went stage 1 in my st180 and am up to 210 at the wheels, feels fantastic and a much better car.

I have no physical mods only a good tune, but wonder, would I get particularly significant gains out of also adding an intercooler, sports cat and intake? (not interested in doing the exhaust really as sound isn't important to me).

If so, would i also need to get another tune done on the car?

Is it really worth it? And will it stop the car being so reliable/lasting me a long time?

Many thanks in advance all.

Sounds like you're already at the limit of the stock turbo. A better intercooler won't really give you more power, but it will give you more consistent power. Your intake charge will stay cooler.
A sports cat won't help unless you're going big turbo with big numbers. Even then, the stock cat and exhaust aren't really restrictive. People change exhaust more for the sound than for any measurable gain in performance.
There are some gains to be had with a better intake. This is from a US tuner, but it's the same engine:

My ST180 is a stage 2. You should be pushing 235bhp at stage 1 and the Torque goes from 177ft/lb to 225. For my Stage 1, I bought Stage 1 remap software and Turning Tool from Vudu. Fiesta ST180 stage 1 remap package are from models running on V Power or 99 RON fuel.

For stage 2, I'm going from 235 to 245 and 235ft/lb. I bought Vudu's Fiesta ST Stage 2+ Intercooler and changed my Induction kit to an ITG induction kit. Vudu has some good products. Stage 2+ gets you ready for stage 3, but Stage 2 is more than enough for me, and it scares the shit out of me its that quick now.

I've ran Cobb OTS stage 1, Dizzy's Stage 2 (V2 and V3), and am now running Dizzy's E30. Each step was for sure a noticeable difference, the biggest step being the E30 tune with the extra low end torque. If you're so inclined to swap the intercooler (everything else is fine stock) Stage 2 is a riot and doesn't make living with the car any different. Mixing in E85 is a bit of a pain in the ass but I'm still enjoying it enough to deal with it. In winter I use stage 2 in eco mode.

Simple answer is they're all worth it, and anything still using a stock turbo will be about as reliable as stock.
