This question is for both of you. But anyone with with experience can answer it as well.

What specs were you guys running on your wheels? 16x7 43 offset? Were you guys rubbing on 215/45/16 tires?

I did one event with my daily driver tires (pilot sport 5). And they’re ain’t gonna cut it.
Sounds like your ride height is too low &/or not enough negative camber. At stock ride height I have 12mm spacers on all 4 corners, my DD setup is 16x7 +43 w/ 215/45. No rubbing at all, ever. I have a few corners nearby that I see everyday with big compressions midway that can nearly bottom out the suspension with 4k/5k spring rates. I ran these same tires on 16x8 +40 on track, no rubbing at all.

A 205/45 or even 195/45 will be lighter, respond sooner and have better lateral grip. I only have a 215 on to protect the wheel from curbs for daily duties.
