Has anyone tried running a duct from the cowl to the bottom of the intake box, either OEM or aftermarket? I searched and I'm surprised I can't find anything, but that could be due to the shear volume of intake threads.
The 2J racing intake is the most effective because it uses the positive pressure from the cowl. In the NA/NB Miata, world the most effective intake is the "Randall". The Randall intake connects the cowl to the air box via a tube.

In my old Miata champcar I made a diy version with a cone filter and a dryer vent tube and it seemed to work based on end of straight speed on a road course. Has anyone done something like this on a FiST?
