Dont sweat it Joe. Id be thrilled to pay what I paid and still have to get my parts at Home Depot because I couldnt have even the PIPE made for what I paid. Theres always gonna be 1 guy thats not happy, but feel good that 99.9% of us are tickled pink about this and understand the incredibke amout of work and effort put into a part for a platform that, honestly if you dropped, 2JR wouldnt feel it. We appreciate the hard work and I cant WAIT for the busted knuckles Ill get during this install.

A 1" od internally braided heater hose is easily found at home depot or a service shop. They will fit the two 90deg brass 1" fittings i picked up at home depot along with the 2 3-4" hose clamps i got at home depot.

You said you couldnt source the parts earlier. I just sourced them in 10min at a local retailer. Im sorry but you could have got the complete kit assembled.

Once again.....awesome job on the pipe, follpwthrough on the smaller PCV system breather parts is lacking.

Dont worry. I will fix the issues. I paid for this. Thats mayyyybe why i am left with a "fell short of my expectations feeling.

PS my injen was $220 shipped.....$160 2j intake $60 harness...u do the math.
The big difference here is the 2JR intake is made in america, with american parts and american sweat. 9 out of 10 of the intakes for the fiesta are not.

Im happy i held out for this intake especially after hearing the in car recordings. Im ok with the lit bit of diy needed to install it amd may even dynamat the area around the filter so my wife doesnt bitch about it being loud.

I had fun today with this one, lol. Took the wifey to get yogurt at Sweet Frog...in my car. I was cracking up at her reaction the entire time.

I have a feeling my gf will react the same....very conservative conservationist....Seems the more noise related mods I do, the less she rides in the car lol. I need to just take all but one seat out because thats how many peoples opinion I value :)

Install is also made difficult by a single piece pipe. I might just cut the pipe, bead the ends and use a coupler . This really could have been better designed. Im scraping off chunks of metal off the pipe all over trying to massage the pipe in. Prolly the hardest intake install i have done.

This really could have been better designed.

I am posting so others know in the future what they are getting into. If i cannot get this together by 11pm the injen will be going back on.

Hey Joe,

Please ship my order as soon as you can, I feel comfortable I can tackle the install after reading this thread's comments. The order is under Kirk B. Also, any update on the Race DP I ordered? If possible, ship 'em together!!!

Thanks amigo!

I think you took the warnings too lightly. You were, along with everyone else, advised of the complications and contraindications of this intake.

Anyway, Joe when's the next batch gonna be ready? Put me down for one.

As I stated, it's above your skill level. No one is ripping off chunks of metal or threatening to cut the pipe, or install improperly sized hose. I wish you the best but now it's just getting redundant. I'm sure you could sell it before more damage is done
