I'm going to lower the taper so the bend starts sooner also make the bottom a little thinner. But so far so good!

Russ
Russ, can you spin it around in the pic to show the look? Kinda how I would have to do with the boomba shifter...similar to a fox/ new edge mustang shifter.

For sure I am going to modify it first

You're not running any short shift kit are you Russ?
Nope wanted to get this made first

I made this one thinner and lowered the tapper I think it looks better.

I forgot to say I have a right hand drive FiST, I wouldn't want the bend to go towards the passenger side!

Great Progress Russ!

Just some constructive feedback....

I think I'd like to see the sidewalls reduced even further along with the taper (maybe just a slight very short taper)...It still appears a bit too bottom heavy to me....

Also could you take some pics "without" the stock knob installed? I think having the stock knob installed in those pics is throwing off the intended look...

I'm having another made right now with less taper as for the walls being thinner there very thin now I wouldn't want it any more because if someone was to drop it or drop it hard enough in shipping it could bend. It's much thinner than say the bottoms of a Cobb knob. As for the look it has to do with the bend being high and sharper than it needs. The final product will address those. I will get a slew of pics some time today though!

Driving it yesterday was epic felt so much more relax with my arm higher and closer to the arm rest. I know that a short through would be even better. I will have the new part Monday or Tuesday and going to set the bend and ship it to our FL buddy to test on his book a set up. I'm also going to order a ball knob.

I think a slightly less aggressive bend would be better, but that's because I sit relatively close to the steering wheel
