Probably. I have no idea. Ha. The rust is probably more from me not taking care of it enough. Not cleaning during the winter or treating it before winter. It's just some small areas on the tips on the exhausts.

Do you have any pics of the rust?

So is it a general concessus that the Cobb 2.5" is the one that is least droney one? I want a more aggressive exhaust but I don't want to compromise the comfort of my first brand new car.
Cobb, Borla/Ford Racing, Moutnune all share the same deep notes and no droneyness.

Cobb is definitely not droney. It's one of those exhausts that are relatively quiet on idle and under 3k. Idling and cruising, it would probably be hard to notice the difference between stock unless compared side by side. Put your foot on the throttle and it's considerably louder than stock. Basically, it's loud when you're on boost. And quiet when you're off boost.

I've heard that the COBB is super quiet. "why did I just spend $800 on this" quiet.
I wouldn't say it's super quiet, but it's not a loud exhaust. Of course, it really depends on personal expectations.

There are some exhausts I can imagine that are audibly noticeable on idle, and it just gets louder as you get on the throttle, possibly with louder peak decibels (maybe more obnoxious, maybe could drone?)
And there are other exhausts that are discreet on idling and only make noise when WOT, with probably lower peak decibels (but maybe not aggressive enough?)

It's really up to you to decide what you want. There's no right or wrong answer for personal preference.

Yeah, loud is subjective. It's hard to judge an exhaust off of reviews because no two people like the same thing.

Nope
Those are borla made. Go to the borla website to hear their version. Sound really good. Note one is for FiST and the other you list is for regular fiesta.
Oh thank you I didn't notice one was for the regular fiesta lol. So I guess the Borla 140525 exhaust is the same one as the one on the ford site. If so that's awesome because this sounds insanely good:

If that's the same exhaust then I'm definitely buyin that shit.

I made some videos with both stock and COBB exhaust for comparison.
This is more of just a casual drive with some idling, a bit of downshifts, pulls, and cruising.
Something that is kind of "practical" in how one might typically drive when the street is clear at night.
Make your own conclusions whether you like it or not, but also keep in mind the accuracy is decent at best, as sound is easily manipulated by mic distance, camera quality, etc. [like]

That Cobb exhaust sounds nice dude!

Does anyone have the Borla 140525 exhaust?
Just took my video today - happy with it too! HA! Borla CBE and a drop in panel filter - that's it for performance mods on my rig! Can't wait for that intercooler...

Here it is - currently uploading to the youtube, should be available shortly (30 mins... my internet is sooooo slow - yay for satellite!!)

I suppose it's saying something when I've watched my own video 4 times just for the sound clip... lol!! I got a couple beauty rev matches down shifts if I say so myself! Ha! I wish I had somewhere to track this POS.

Now I'm having a hard time deciding whether to get an intercooler first or this exhaust first....
