Figured that. Oh well I only asked because I really liked the Mongoose brand. Most likely will go with the MBRP which I've found for 425 shipped

Virtual Dyno 7 25 15 Randy Tune 4.0.jpg 10 10 15 Randy Tune 4.0 Injen Exhaust.jpg I installed the Injen 3" on my 2015 three weekends ago, and I am really digging it. I had a 2010 mx5 sport with full "race exhaust" catted header, resonated midpipe, and pretty much straight pipe muffler prior to this car, and the mx5 was much louder.

I was expecting the FiST with Injen 3" to be louder than what it is, so its actually a pleasant surprise how livable it is to drive around.Yes, there's a slight boom around 3200 rpms, but cruising at 75 mph can be done with the windows up and in comfort. Driving through my residential neighborhood its not too loud, and cold start isn't very loud either.

Power wise I am impressed. I am utilizing VD and am running a datalog through VD prior to the exhaust and then after. Power mods on both datalogs are pro tune, cobb fmic plus charge pipes, and cobb intake. The only difference being that the VD with a noticeable increase in HP has the Injen 3".

you should add boost and afr to the virtual dyno readout

I'll do that, didn't know that I could
Yeah you can, go to options or settings, in virtual dyno there is tab that let you name the header name that virtual dyno would look in the datalog so it can pull the data

^ I played around with the program a little yesterday and saw where to do that, thanks for pointing me in that direction.

* I edited my post with the VD above, and included at the very top of that post the Datazap file for those runs.

Have you talk to randy about those 2 throttle closing events? i am talking about etc angle actual in those datazap, also those ign corrections could get better after 4k rpm, they jump all over the place, saw some neg ign corrections also

I don't know enough about tuning to fully understand everything that is a "hiccup" on my datalogs, but yes Randy has this latest datalog and he is looking over it for me now. He's always been easy to work with and honest and open.

No matter the few little tune related hiccups, the car is running STRONG. I wish it were perfect as the tune currently sits, because I am happy with everything about how the car responds engine wise. Strong low, mid, and even top too "thumbs up"

just for reference only, here is one of ur datalogs (Ryan Best Cobb AP Randy Tune 4.0 Log Three 10 10 15) vs one of mine (ots stage 2 93 oct). i only have cobb intake, cobb fmic and upgraded hot side charge pipe (not a cobb one)

as you can see below 4k ish you had gain alot, but after 4.5k it falls flat on his face, bcs the corrections ignitions are dancing are over the place imo
i know with some more fine tuning it can get better all over the rpm range imo

here is the my log file so you can compare the etc actual and the ign correction (only have cyl 1) you want something like that, not the ups and down in the ign correction after 4k that you have.

COBB cat-back with Depot Racing Cat-less down pipe.

I just made this video, yes it is long, but I made sure to get all the different types of throttle touches and WOT and cruising etc. sorry about the last 30 secs. I couldn't get my camera to turn off. Hope you guys enjoy. and hope those on the fence of getting a COBB exhaust finally make the plunge. Its well worth it.

I bought Cobbs exhaust last year in January, Had an issue with the exhaust hanger on the muffler, It broke at the weld, and put a hole in the muffler, Called Cobb, spoke to Michael, right away he says ill over night you a new exhaust free of charge! How awesome!! The first time I had a shop install the exhaust, way to cold to do it in January. This time me and my buddy put it on, when we got to the rear section, I realized the new exhaust I got from cobb was almost 2 inches shorter than my old one..Weird right? Well it also has a deeper tone, and is a little louder. ( WHICH IS AMAZING!! ) I LOVE the sound of it now. I loved it before, but just weird why would they shorten the exhaust? Or maybe the shop I used only used the rear muffler, for 304SS it was BADLY discolored. Like brown, looked nasty. Moral of this story is COBB exhaust is the SHIT! Amazing customer service, and just all around amazing exhaust.

SO... random. BUT...
I've been debating resonator delete or replacement . i know nexus has one, but has anybody welded on a glasspack, or like a magnaflow muffler to replace the original resonator ?
