No email for me yet. I sent an email clearly stating what I expected this to be and if it wasn't to cancel my order.

Wait you sent them an email telling them you know it's a typo? Idk but I fully expect them to honor the price and ship orders that have already been paid for.
Yea they have to. I worked for one of these companies before. It happened to us and we had to honor it.

I don't have time to **** around plus they will know. When those orders go to ship the price will reflect a diff part. Like I said I used to do it.

After emailing them asking if I can change the address to a non-california address, their response:

I'm afraid not; Amazon requires all 3rd-party sellers like us to ship to the address on the original order. If you had purchased directly from Amazon, they can, but in the interest of security, we cannot.

Furthermore, this sale price was a computer error with Amazon's automated procedures, and violates K&N's minimum advertised price policies. Even if you weren't in California, since all 49-State intakes ship from K&N, they would cancel this order because of the policy violation. This is an effort from K&N to protect their brand, as they say, and unfortunately, due to contractual obligations with them, we have to follow those rules. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Sold by "suck and such motorsports", and shipped from K&N, lol... I think that crap should illegal. To sell me something, you have to have something.

I hoped the best for everyone, I figured chances were that they would just cancel it or send anyone panels in hopes of 1/2 the people not wanting to go through the trouble to return it..

90% of vendors drop ship items, even most of the ones that are on this forum. Honestly I don't find anything wrong with it on mass produced items.

I still am going to make my case saying I paid for X item at X price and expect it to be that way, or else they can be prepared to deal with the consequences of negative reviews in multiple places.

I'm sure they'll just refund it. It's not like you didn't realize it was a pricing error. You can't honestly say you didn't see the msrp on the site.

I can play dumb just as well as the next guy. I just thought it was a really good deal and I wanted to take advantage of it. I understand people make mistakes, but I as a customer shouldn't be inconvenienced by it.

In all seriousness, if they man up and "eat" the cost, I might buy something else from them because of the good will they show.

If they cancel with that stupid reason, they are going to have it! They made the mistake, we paid for the product at the listed price.

No luck ! This is what i got.

Good afternoon,

Unfortunately, because this item does not meet California emissions standards, and since we are located in California, K&N refuses to ship this item to us for us to send your way. They actually do not allow us to keep this in stock in our warehouse either for the same reason; usually we ship directly from K&N to the customer, but they will not ship internationally on our behalf.

If you can provide your vehicle information, I'd be more than happy to look for a CA-legal alternative that we can fill your order with! If you'd rather just cancel and refund, we definitely understand that as well; whichever you prefer. I apologize for this issue, but look forward to your reply!
