It fits fine and is just right for me at this time since I have no plans on going with a bigger turbo or all out race car, lol

I was looking at the magnaflow too when I got the Borla. The magnaflow was out of stock at that time. I do like the tips used on the magnaflow but as far as sound, both sounded fine with me. It was my intention to go catless as I did, so I wanted an exhaust that wasn't too ridiculous without the cat.

I just got a shipping notification for my MBRP coming to the east coast from WI. Should be here before the weekend.

Hope to get it installed quickly. I've been waiting for this thing since early July.

I definitely will. Need to get my GoPro back from the person I loaned it to (never again) though.

I'm on the fence about ordering the MPRP exhaust. Anyone got theirs and installed it. Looking for feed back. I had one on my 03 Focus and loved it.

I have the MBRP 409 installed. Sounds awesome! However, I haven't heard it outside I the car yet. Install was super easy, took me just over an hour on jack stands, and chatting with my buddy during the install.

My only complaint - it's loud in the car. Makes me think it's loud outside the car too, so my fuel consumption has improved! 😁

It's loud with the windows up and down. The 'muffler' is a pass through, basically the full 3", so there are baffles within the can, but it just makes that MBRP sound.

It's likely loud in the car because there is no sound deadening in the boot. Maybe some other owners with different exhaust can chime in with how loud it is in the car.

I've got a buddy who has a db meter, so I'll update some in and out car numbers once I get them.

I like this setup. Did you have the downpipe fitted on stock exhaust before you went Borla? The Borla sounds like it breaths a bit better than stock despite it being a fairly modest upsize.

Careful what you wish for. I have a 3" turbo-back exhaust on my XR4Ti (2.3l four with T3 turbo) and it has one DynoMax UltraFlo and no resonator. It has a turndown tip and the fact that the sound hits the ground under the car instead of shooting out the back makes it LOUD inside the car. I have massive drone while on the highway.

Of course the amount of drone or noise depends on the exhaust but no matter what, when you do a turndown it makes it quieter for everyone outside the vehicle but louder inside.

Just wanted you to be aware before ordering...

That said, I'm in for a preorder on the MBRP and will record videos as soon as I have it on the car and seasoned with carbon.
ISO

Ultimate Racing said they will have a sound clip of their exhaust up by Friday, one will be with the 4" turndown tip. So i am excited, i know the MS3 community loved UR and they sounded great on that platform.

We will see if it does change the sound/cabin volume much with the direction the sound heads.

Does that mean you're getting one? I look forward to seeing/hearing it. (Virtually at least)

Possibly one day, i cannot get together that kind of money right now for a want when i have glaring needs. Like my car will need the garbage OEM tires replaced probably before its a year old.

Cars come second to my offroad racing hobby, so my quad will always get the lions share of any spare cash i have. This usually means little to no modification for cars at my age where im just getting into a career.

The MBRP is installed. Very nice tone. Had some very minor fitment issues with the part that goes over the rear beam but no rubbing.

It definitely is loud under load with a resonance at around 3k. I recorded an in car video but I don't hear it very well from my phone recording.

I'll upload to YouTube and listen with my headphones to check.
