I ordered the 409 MBRP today. The price was right and I liked the sound of the Focus one.

Wow, I didn't think we would have so many options already for the FiST in terms of exhaust. I know that the Regular fiestas have like 5-6 options to choose from. And 2 of them are made by the same brand just with different logos on the muffler.
Dammit, so many choices! Now I don't know which one I want.
My vote is for the COBB, by far the nicest exhaust I've ever owned.

Ultimate-Racing stuff is TOP NOTCH!!! Turned my GTI up a couple notches for sure! Added just a hint of aggressiveness and a TON of power. I was VERY surprised. I had the metal cat/non-res version btw.

Please get a video of this, id love that exhaust with the 4" turndown tip. Looks AMAZING.
Careful what you wish for. I have a 3" turbo-back exhaust on my XR4Ti (2.3l four with T3 turbo) and it has one DynoMax UltraFlo and no resonator. It has a turndown tip and the fact that the sound hits the ground under the car instead of shooting out the back makes it LOUD inside the car. I have massive drone while on the highway.

Of course the amount of drone or noise depends on the exhaust but no matter what, when you do a turndown it makes it quieter for everyone outside the vehicle but louder inside.

Just wanted you to be aware before ordering...

That said, I'm in for a preorder on the MBRP and will record videos as soon as I have it on the car and seasoned with carbon.

Oh, it's a custom exhaust and not one from a specific manufacturer?

Oh man, I can really tell it has that sexy burble and pop. Hope I don't regret ordering the MBRP.

It shouldnt cause any issues, its a 45 degree turn down, not a 90 degree like on diesel pickups.

Mine isn't 90 either...
I dunno then, when my friend put a turn down on his track Sentra it didnt change the sound or volume level at all.

Its a moot point for now until i actually hear the exhaust. So far i like the COBB exhaust the most. My inner ricer would love the MRT exhuast, but my overpowering adulthood knows my whole apartment complex would hate it and inside the car it would be obnoxious.

If UR releases a video ill ask them to do one with the 4" turndown tip inside and outside of the car just for comparisons sake.

I like the best flowing, none resonate and not to loud exhaust the best so I would get a Cobb if I bought one but I build my own and mine may be too quiet.

Loud exhausts can get you to much attention as in from those that write tickets for a living, another reason I always have pretty quiet exhausts.

Here is the video that I promised a while back of a 2014 Fiesta ST with the 2JR race downpipe and the Borla Cat-Back. The A/C was on at first then I turned it off, also there is a rev to the launch control. Enjoy and let me know what you think.
